The Philippine Science High School-Central Visayas Campus (PSHS-CVisC) launched the National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) 2024 during the flag retreat today, March 1, 2024.
Proclamation No, 227 s. 1988, “Providing for the observance of the Month of March as ‘Women’s Role in History Month’” signed by President Aquino on March 17, 1988, emphasized the role of Filipino women in the social, cultural, economic, and political development throughout Philippine history.
PSHS-CVisC’s major activities in store for NWMC 2024 include trivia questions for scholars after the flag-raising and retreat ceremonies every Monday and Friday, 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘬𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘺 𝘑𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘢 and Purple Runway in collaboration with the Alliance of Future Scientists (AFS) and a seminar on NWMC.
