In his advocacy pitch, Innov 101, Elmido highlighted the vision and goals of Bombilya, a non-profit organization he spearheads. The initiative aims to equip aspiring innovators with the skills and mindset to engage in research and innovation.

"As I continue my journey, I hope to make an impact in society as I work on my advocacy in improving Science and Technology in the country," Elmido said in his Facebook post.

PCGE lauded 25 Mga Bagong Rizal: Pag-asa ng Bayan awardees this year.

First launched in 2011, the search for the Mga Bagong Rizal aims to identify and recognize Filipino youth who have demonstrated exemplary performance in the areas of cognition, the arts, creativity and
leadership and other multiple intelligences. It also aims to foster the mindset of commitment in helping towards national development.

All nominees from the different regions went through stringent screening set by PCGE headed by Dr. Letecia Penano-Ho. The shortlisted nominees then underwent a two-day training webinar, from which the twenty-five awardees were selected.

The awardees would be part of the PCGE leadership and mentoring program that would further develop them holistically, and foster in them the mindset of service to the nation. Subsequently, they will become part of the PCGE-MBR sustainable program and structure through which their conceptualized advocacy and empowerment projects may be implemented.
