Scholars nanoscience video wins second place in chemistry competitionThree PSHS-CVisC students won second place in the Video Presentation Contest under the Chemistry in Health and Medicine category during the virtual Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad 2021 on April 24 and 30.

Reigne Hanneiken Gaite, Shannen Mari Morikawa, and Justine Pepito, together with their mentor Mr. Marjhun Ricarte, produced a video that details the complex process of how drugs are transported or delivered to their intended destinations in the body. The almost 6-minute video mainly talks about liposomes and their role in the drug delivery system.

The video, uploaded to the Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad Facebook page, has already gained 265 reactions, 94 shares, and more than two thousand views as of writing.

Topping the list of winners in the Video Presentation Contest was Philippine Science High School - Main Campus.

Attended by various Grade 9-12 students from public and private schools, the Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad this year comprised three major segments, namely the Synchronous Written Exam Round, Video Presentation Contest, and webinars.
