Government Service Insurance System - Cebu Branch Office donated a Toyota Revo 2002 model to PSHS-CVisC on September 10.
The turn-over was conducted at the GSIS office in Cebu City. Ms. Ma. Fatima R. Alvarez, the branch manager and chairperson of the branch's Physical Resources Disposal Committee spearheaded the turn-over.
On the other hand, CVisC Campus Director Dr. Warren D. Cordeta represented CVisC.
Prior to the donation, the school last year made a letter of inquiry to GSIS for any service vehicle available for disposal. Likewise, it requested for donation in case of availability. Then came the time when two service vehicles were available for disposal. CVisC was lucky-enough to have requested earlier as it was selected as one of two schools to receive a vehicle. The selection, which was witnessed by Commission on Audit representative Ms. Minalyn Lacierda was through a first-come-first-served basis.
